Sixth Form Enrolment & Clearing Event Summer 2020 – Important Notice

The Academy will be holding the Sixth Form Enrolment & Clearing event on Thursday 20th August 2020. At this stage we do not yet know whether this will be an online only event or whether it will be held at the Academy. If you are holding an offer from us, we will be in touch via email. Please visit the website for updates on the event.

How to apply

The deadline for applications has now passed. If you have not made an application, but would still like to be considered for entry into our Sixth Form, you are welcome to add your name and details to our Clearing Event on Thursday 20th August 2020. We do not currently know whether we are able to welcome you to the Academy on the day or whether this will be held entirely online. We will contact all those who register closer to the time with the full details of the event.

Click here to register your interest to take part in our Sixth Form Clearing Event.

If you would like to discuss your application or course choices, please email the Sixth Form Team: post16@hammersmithacademy.org

Please note: Students are expected to gain a minimum of eight, 9 – 4 grades at GCSE, including English and Mathematics, with at least a grade 6 in the chosen subject, (some subjects require a grade 7).

Sixth Form Open Events 2020-2021

The disruption bought by Covid-19 has meant that we have been unable to confirm our Open Event dates in September and October at this moment in time.

We do not yet know whether we will be able to hold our traditional Open Evening and Open Mornings at the Academy, or whether we will be conducting Open Events online.

For now, please register your interest and we will be in touch once we have guidance from the government. Click here to register your interest for our Open Events.

Sixth Form Prospectus

Finding the best Sixth Form for you can be a daunting decision. A great place to start is by looking at our Sixth Form Prospectus. Here you will find information about life in our Sixth Form, the Academy’s facilities and individual subject information. You will also discover the excellent level of support that you will receive from our Careers and University Lead and from our Sixth Form Student Achievement Manager who will be with you every step of the way. There are also ‘Student Journey’ profiles from students who have gone on to successful careers, yet remain in touch with the Academy today.
