Rising Star, Beabadoobee, Films Music Video At Hammersmith Academy

Rising star, Beabadoobee, also known as Beatrice Laus, returned to Hammersmith Academy after recently completing her A-Level studies in the Academy’s Sixth Form.

This time she was stepping foot into the Academy as a burgeoning music star to film her new music video for her song ‘She Plays Bass’.

Beatrice was not the only HA alumni returning for this project. She was accompanied by Soren Harrison and Amir Hossain, who were co-directing the video.

Since filming the video at the Academy, Beatrice has been nominated for the Brit Award 2020 Rising Star Award. She said of the nomination, “It’s super cool to be nominated for the BRITs Rising Star award and I’m so grateful. It’s so weird to think that writing music in my bedroom could appeal to so many people. Thank you so much to anyone who has voted for me!”

We wish her the very best on her burgeoning musical career, we know there is much more to come.
