Consultation on Proposed Change to Admission Arrangements
Hammersmith Academy is consulting on arrangements for admissions in the 2026-27 academic year and would welcome your feedback.
The Governing Body would be pleased to receive any comments you may have by Friday, 10th January 2025.
Please note that the Academy propose the following changes:
Oversubscription criteria – Year 7 Admission Criteria (page 4)
- Removal of the Admission Priority Area.
Tiebreaker (page 5)
- If all applications within a band have been exhausted, the remaining places will be offered to siblings within the next highest band based on proximity.
This consultation is for the attention of:
a) parents of children between the ages of two and eighteen
b) other persons in the area who have an interest in the proposed arrangements
c) all other admission authorities within the local area
d) the local authority
e) any adjoining neighbouring local authorities
f) any local faith organisation
The consultation period is from Tuesday, 26th November 2024 to Friday, 10th January 2025.

Following the consultation period all submitted comments will be considered at a governors’ meeting and the final arrangements will be published on our website no later than 15 March 2025.
