What’s unique about HA Sport?
Unusually for a state school we can offer rowing as an activity offered in the curriculum time due to links with theFulham Reach Boat Club.
We also offer an extensive extra-curricular programme offered by staff and access to external specialist sports coaches.
Recent adventures in Sport
The current year 11 boys football team have been finalists in the QPR league for the past four years, winning three of these finals.
The current year 9 girls also won the U13 girls QPR league finals at Loftus Road in the summer of 2017.
Girls from years 9 and 10 have taken part in two recent BMX competitions at the Olympic Park and have been successful in wining gold and silver medals as a team and in individual races.
Each year, around 10 students take part in the annual Fulham Reach Boat Club Thames 100 challenge, where they row 25 miles down the river Thames as part of a 100 mile relay row.
Students over the past three years have also been selected to row on the Glorianna on the river Thames.
Year 9 student Michael Wicks is currently training with London Irish Rugby Club outside of school after only being introduced to rugby at HA in year 7.
The current U16 basketball team have won the H&F borough basketball and now representing the borough in the knock out stage of the London Youth Games.
