Specialism

Creative and Digital Media and ICT

Our Specialism

The curriculum will provide a variety of opportunities for personalising your learning pathway. The Academy’s virtual learning environment will be available 24/7 and will provide ready and reliable access to the Academy’s information systems, for you and your parents. This e-portal gives you access to the on-line curriculum and all the tools and information needed to manage your learning.

Information Communication Technology (ICT) will provide you with tools to work collaboratively and creatively in a variety of media, allowing you to share and discuss ideas with your teachers and peers to consolidate their understanding.

The Creative and Media Specialism covers areas including:

  • Thinking creatively and critical awareness,
  • Being inventive and flexible,
  • Understanding media and production processes,
  • Business and enterprise skills.
