Academy Life

Timetable

When you come to Hammersmith Academy you will have to familiarise yourself with a different structure to your days. You will learn in between two and four different subject areas each day giving you plenty of time to make lots of progress in each area, every day.

It might take you a bit of time to get used to the new building but there will be plenty of people to help you find your way from one classroom to another.

Homework

When you come to Hammersmith Academy, you will be given homework to do each night. This checks that you've understood what you have done in class and helps you prepare for something that you might do in your next lesson.

Homework could be:

  • Preparing for a lesson
  • Research
  • Writing an essay
  • Revising for a test
  • Project work
