-
To provide and develop information and experiences relevant to the career provision available in physical education, recreation and leisure industries.
All students follow courses in P.E. and Games throughout Key Stage 3 and 4. Students will have some choice regarding which particular activities they undertake and these will vary throughout the year.
There is a difference between what boys and girls will play. For the boys, there is an emphasis on Rugby, Football, and, later on, Tennis, Athletics (including Cross-Country) and Hockey. For the girls there is Dance, Hockey, Netball, Tennis, Cross-Country running, and Athletics.
Our state of the art fitness centre also allows students to train and keep fit outside of normal Academy hours.
