Letter from the Headteacher

 We will:

  • Inspire each other to work hard and learn..
  • Create opportunities to develop everyone’s talents.
  • Succeed by doing our best to reach our potential

Inspire Create Succeed

I am delighted to invite you to consider Hammersmith Academy, an exciting and inspiring place where ambitions will be realised. As an aspirational academy, we will create a vibrant and rewarding learning community where students become confident, independent learners who make outstanding progress and achieve their full potential.

We will bring out the best in every student, within a culture of high standards and high expectations, through a broad and dynamic curriculum that develops skills and knowledge, in order to achieve academic distinction.

Through our specialism, we will harness modern information technology to develop students’ expertise, in support of achievement and success in higher education and also in the wider world of work.

We will develop active citizens by teaching leadership and life skills and instill strong values of self-discipline and respect. Hammersmith Academy students will graduate as leaders who can go on to inspire and motivate others.

We have high expectations for attendance, uniform, behaviour and attitude to learning. We will always demand 100% from all our students and parents.

We will ensure outstanding personal development through outstanding teaching, high quality support and guidance within a fantastic state-of-the-art academy building that will provide an outstanding contribution to our students’ lives and future careers.

Is Hammersmith Academy the right choice for you and your child?

We believe so!

Gary Kynaston
