Letter from the Headteacher

 We will:

  • Inspire each other to work hard and learn..
  • Create opportunities to develop everyone’s talents.
  • Succeed by doing our best to reach our potential

Hammersmith Academy is an exciting and inspiring place where ambitions are realised. As an aspiration Academy, we create a vibrant learning community, where students become confident, independent learners who make outstanding progress and achieve their full potential.

Through a culture of high standards and high expectations, we aim to bring out the best in every student. Our dynamic and challenging curriculum inspires interest, develops skills and knowledge, and ignites passion in learners. It aims at all times to develop creative thinkers and inquisitive minds, leading to academic success and the desire to study further.

As a 21st century school, we harness modern information technology to develop our students' expertise and enrich their access to learning information in support of achievement and future success in higher education and the wider world of work.

We develop our students to be active citizens by teaching leadership and life skills and instilling strong values of self-discipline, respect and tolerance. Hammersmith Academy students will graduate as leaders with integrity who will go on to inspire and motivate others to success and the achievement of common goals.

We have high expectations for attendance, uniform, behaviour and attitude to learning, which form the foundations for success. We provide high quality support and guidance, coupled with a fantastic state-of-the-art Academy building that ensures outstanding personal development.

We are committed 100% to your child's success and expect the same commitment from all our students and parents. We will make an outstanding contribution to their lives and future careers.

Is Hammersmith Academy the right choice for you and your child?

We believe so!

Gary Kynaston
