Aims & Ethos
Hammersmith Academy has a thriving Drama department, staffed by subject specialists. Our aim is to nurture the growth of creativity and develop communication and team work skills.
Students are involved in a wide range of theatre practice including: acting, writing, editing, technical work and directing.
All students are encouraged to develop transferable creative skills and a personal critical voice. Group work underpins the teaching methods of the majority of our schemes of work at all Key Stages. We encourage every young person to develop their learning and experience through engaging positively with the Arts.
